Little Lou's Biggest Fan is Ava!

For those that don't know who Little Lou is she is my mom.  She spends lots of time with all of the girls, teaching them loving them.  Doing just about anything she can to let them know that she loves them all.  Ava's Papa is a big part of her life too.  My parents have for years gone to Florida for the winter.  My dad goes to work there as soon as the growing season changes.  He schedules his flights to Florida on a Monday and returns late Thursday night.  All because he has to pick Ava up from school on Friday!   Not because I need him to.  Just because that was their routine.  Well, my mom left this afternoon just for a couple of days to meet my dad. Six to be exact!  The only reason I know is, because Ava needed to know the day she would return! Well, this year Ava is understanding more.  The last couple of days Ava has been sad and crying at times.  She doesn't understand why grandma had to go to Florida.  I am at a loss of what I will do for the winter!  My mom leaves after christmas and returns in March, of course never to miss Ava's birthday!  Ava was born a month early so she could share her birthday with Papa. They always have a special cupcake together by themselves to share their birthday.  Ava will get over it, but has made the last couple of days hard.  She is just blessed with wonderful grandparents that love her so much!

A Cowgirl and Her Animals

Here they are Halloween night!  It looks as if I planned it, but I didn't.  The only thing planned was Lena wearing the Rooster.  Mya choose the Rooster last year and I knew it would fit Lena this year.   Ava decided she wanted to be a cow again. Luckily it still fit.  So, I let her be the cow.  Mya wanted to be a cowgirl.  I don't know where she got the idea, but she loved it.  It was funny listening to Lena  try to make Rooster noises!  We don't go many places for Halloween, but the girls loved it!

Mya's Fourth Birthday!

Mya turned four on October 29!  We celebrated her birthday with horse rides with her friends. I believe everyone had fun. Even some of the big kids wanted a turn to ride one of the horses! Mya's Papa was even riding.  I hope someone got a picture!  We were so lucky to have the Knight family bring their horses over for everyone to ride.

Where did time go?

My little girl where did she go?
Ava's first words this morning when she woke up was "where is that bus?!"  She was so excited to get on I couldn't get a good picture.  I even had to ask for a kiss good bye.  From what she told me she seemed to enjoy her first day in kindergarten.  Ava has grown so much in the past year.

Mya enjoyed her first day at Pre-K.  She loved seeing her friends from preschool.  Of course she had to wear a blue dress.  Getting everyone off was smooth.  It was when I went to pick Mya up things went wrong.  I had a completely flat tire.  The good part was that I was in the school parking lot.  So, we waited till Patrick came to fix it.   Once again he is our hero!  In the girls eyes he can fix anything.

Patrick came home to see Ava off to school.  I could hardly get a picture she was so excited she couldn't sit still.    We rather her be excited then trying to get her to go.  She was not still for a second.  Patrick kept telling her not to get dirty.  Something she normally doesn't hear from him!

Lena was excited for Ava.  She was asking for the girls every once in a while.  She was screaming Ava's name when waiting for her bus to come home.  She will start two year old play group in a week.  It's only twice a week for two hours.  She wants to go to school also.  She had to bring her backpack to drop off Mya to school.  She might change her mind when it comes time.  Here is a picture of Lena waiting to get Ava off to school.  She had to hold Ava's backpack.

Twirling

Ava and Mya had their last time twirling for the year.  They performed at Red Wing stadium last night.  They enjoyed learning to twirl with Mrs. Heather this year.  I think she is a wonderful teacher!  I enjoyed watching them twirl in all the parades it was very cute.

They are Growinig Up!

My little girl is getting big.  My baby Lena got her "big girl bed" today.  I was kind of worried about her not wanting to sleep in it.   Lena went right to sleep at nap time with no problem .  If  her sisters would take some lessons.  Hopefully she will continue on sleeping well for us in her bed!  Now the big decision is the bedspread.  Gotta go she just woke up!
